r-cran-rcolorbrewer software package provides GNU R package providing suitable color palettes, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install r-cran-rcolorbrewer
r-cran-rcolorbrewer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the r-cran-rcolorbrewer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep r-cran-rcolorbrewer *
You will get with r-cran-rcolorbrewer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
